Join Working Families Win on Thursday, September 23rd, at Keene State College, to share your story about how this law has helped you or to learn more about the provisions going into effect and how they are already helping people in our c...ommunities. New Provisions that will go into effect on Thursday: -18-26 year olds can stay on their parents health insurance -Prohibit denying children health insurance based on pre-existing conditions -Pre-existing condition insurance plan available -No co-pay for preventative care in new health insurance plans -Prohibit health insurance companies from rescinding your health insurance coverage and placing limits on care The provision expanding coverage for 18-26 year olds fills a crucial gap for young people struggling to start their careers in a stagnant economy as they will now have the option to stay on their parents insurance plan as they get themselves established.
